Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and executing marketing strategy and driving inbound lead generation activities through individual effort in coordination with the VP of Sales & Marketing. Collaborates with leadership in creating Marketing plans and independently develops and leads Marketing campaigns, events, and evaluation of Marketing performance metrics to improve the company’s ROI. Consistently maintains positive and productive relationships with applicable external partners, as well as team members, co-workers, peers, and executive leadership.
Responsibilities
• Manages execution of Marketing initiatives & plans and drives required weekly/monthly cadence.
• Drives efforts to generate inbound leads via Content Marketing, Campaigns, Events, Lead Nurturing and more.
• Develops & implements annual Marketing plans for new and existing prototype: IT offerings.
• Oversees event planning, execution, and manages digital and social media strategy.
• Manages brand integrity throughout the company and drives increased brand awareness.
• Collaborates with leadership on annual Marketing Road map and monthly Marketing calendar, including developing specific and measurable marketing KPIs.
• Develops creation/ROI plan for customer/partner facing promotional materials/giveaways and Marketing materials.
• Provides weekly and monthly marketing reports to management.
• Monitors, reviews, and reports on all marketing activity, campaigns and results as required.
• Manage the marketing budget and deliver Marketing activities within agreed annual budget.
• Ability to collaborate and work under pressure in a growing organization, including regular collaboration with Sales, HR, and Operations to determine internal and external Marketing needs.
• Manages related third-party Marketing & Advertising partners and vendors including co-op funds / MDF.
• Consistently remains on the forefront of emerging Marketing best practices.
• Approach all encounters with customers and co-workers in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain compliance with prototype: IT’s standards including regular attendance, grooming, and security guidelines.
Qualifications
• Experience in various Marketing platforms, analytics, and tools.
• Expertise in developing and managing successful marketing plans and strategies.
• Proficiency in content marketing, brand enhancement, lead generation, web analytics, SEO, CRO, and digital marketing.
• Knowledge of current online marketing techniques and best practices.
• Experience in customer and market research and related reporting.
• Strong content editing and writing abilities, both original and AI-generated.
• Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and speaking skills.
• Good time management, team collaboration, and creativity skills.
• Proficiency with computer tools, including MS Office, marketing automation and management tools, Adobe products (Acrobat, Photoshop), and graphic design.
• Professional and effective communication in various settings.
• Active listening and feedback skills.
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations and handle objections and disputes effectively.
• Demonstrates initiative to improve processes and suggest innovative approaches.
• Self-directed, disciplined, and detail-oriented, with the ability to exercise independent judgment.
Screening Criteria
• Must have stable employment history.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications
• At least two (2) to five (5) years of related B2B Marketing experience including Digital Marketing.
